By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to receive SMS messages that may include:

After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms and your use of our Services.

We reserve the right to:

  • Assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification
  • Require your cooperation in defending such claims
  • Settle claims at our sole discretion

11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

11.1 Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written description of your dispute to:

We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 60 days. If we are unable to resolve your dispute within 60 days, you may pursue your claim through arbitration or litigation as described below.

11.2 Binding Arbitration

YOU AND FAITHLAND INVESTMENTS & FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC. AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.

Arbitration Rules:

  • Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules
  • The arbitration will be held in Houston, Texas, or another mutually agreed location
  • The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding
  • Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction

Exceptions to Arbitration: The following disputes are NOT subject to arbitration:

  • Claims in small claims court (if the matter qualifies)
  • Claims for injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property
  • Claims related to insurance policy coverage (which are governed by the insurance policy terms)

11.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND FAITHLAND INVESTMENTS & FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC. AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

  • You may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class action, consolidated action, or representative action
  • You may not participate in a class action against us
  • An arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of class proceeding

If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, the entire arbitration provision shall be null and void.

11.4 Costs and Fees

  • Each party will be responsible for their own attorney’s fees and costs, unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator
  • We will pay the arbitration filing fees unless the arbitrator determines your claim is frivolous
  • The arbitrator may award attorney’s fees and costs to the prevailing party as permitted by law

11.5 Opt-Out Right

You have the right to opt-out of binding arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. To opt-out, you must send a written notice to:

  • Clear statement that you wish to opt-out of arbitration

If you opt-out, all other terms of these Terms will continue to apply, but disputes will be resolved in court rather than through arbitration.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and your use of our Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12.2 Venue and Jurisdiction

Subject to the arbitration provisions above, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

You hereby:

  • Submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts
  • Waive any objection to venue in such courts
  • Waive any claim that such courts are an inconvenient forum

12.3 Waiver of Jury Trial

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL in any legal proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our Services.


13. Term and Termination

13.1 Term

These Terms commence on the date you first access or use our Services and continue until terminated by either you or us.

13.2 Termination by You

You may terminate these Terms at any time by:

  • Ceasing all use of our Services
  • Closing your account (if applicable)

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services, with or without notice, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Extended period of inactivity

13.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • We may delete your account and all associated data
  • Outstanding obligations (including premium payments) remain enforceable
  • Insurance policies remain in effect according to their terms
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including:
    • Intellectual property rights
    • Disclaimers and limitations of liability
    • Indemnification obligations
    • Dispute resolution provisions
    • Governing law provisions

13.5 No Refunds

Except as required by law or as expressly stated in an insurance policy, termination of these Terms does not entitle you to any refund of premiums or fees paid.


14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable insurance policy contracts, constitute the entire agreement between you and Faithland Investments & Financial Services, Inc. DBA Steve Soyebo Insurance Agency regarding your use of our Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void.

We may freely assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without notice or your consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

14.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc.)
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Labor disputes or strikes
  • Pandemic or epidemic
  • Utility failures or internet outages
  • Cyber attacks or security breaches
  • Failures of third-party service providers

14.6 No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. No person or entity not party to these Terms shall have any rights under or be entitled to rely upon these Terms.

14.7 Notices

All notices required or permitted under these Terms shall be in writing and shall be deemed given when:

  • Personally delivered
  • Sent by confirmed email
  • Sent by certified mail, return receipt requested
  • Delivered by nationally recognized overnight courier
